I bring experience and perspective to the bench from my previous service as Assistant Public Defender and as a prosecutor with Harris County District Attorney’s Office, in addition to my work as a private defense attorney. My primary goal as judge is to ensure that everyone receives equal and fair treatment under the law, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, economic status, or religion.
I pledge to manage taxpayer resources and help make our communities stronger and safer by changing the current delinquency practices. In child custody and adoption cases, I work to make sure the child’s best interests always comes first.
As a practicing indigent defense attorney in the Juvenile Justice Center, I have witnessed first-hand the impacts juvenile and CPS dockets impose on youth and their families. I will strive to make decisions that provide the best outcome for the family, youth, and community.
